Senior Engineer Antivibration Technology (all genders)

YOUR MISSION 

• Provide state-of-the-art engineering services and technical expertise to customers, Product Application Engineers (PAE) and internal sales teams within the Antivibration Technology business field 
• Collaborate closely with our dedicated FEA team and leverage simulation results to support customer projects, product development and engineering decision-making.
• Lead technical customer projects from concept and validation through to successful market release. 
• Represent A+P engineering capabilities and technical expertise towards customers, partners and external stakeholders. 
• Drive technical excellence by reviewing product compliance, preparing homologation documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Share knowledge through technical training, coaching, seminars and mentoring of colleagues, new employees and students. 
• Collaborate with our internal engineering teams, Business Units, production sites, suppliers and quality teams to support innovation, manufacturing efficiency and customer success. 

YOUR PROFILE 

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a related technical field. A PhD is a plus.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in product development and technical project management, ideally managing the entire product development lifecycle from initial concept and design through prototyping, validation, industrialization, and series production.
• Solid understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and CAE simulation methodologies, with the ability to interpret simulation results and collaborate effectively with our dedicated simulation team to support design decisions and product optimization.
• Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional development projects, working closely with simulation, testing, manufacturing, and other engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, product performance, quality, and timely delivery.
• Knowledge of material behavior and characterization, particularly for elastomers, plastics, metals, adhesives, and brittle materials. Familiarity with material testing, validation, and verification processes is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles, with the ability to translate technical requirements into robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable product solutions.
• Experience in mold design, molding processes, process development, and elastomer applications is a plus.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement, proactively solve technical challenges, and manage development priorities in a dynamic, international environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, combined with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Professional fluency in English is required. German language skills are a plus.
