Product Manager Dynamic Seals (all genders)

YOUR MISSION

• In this exciting role you will define and drive the product strategy for the dynamic seals (radial rotary shaft seals, axial shaft seals, piston/rod seals, wipers, guide rings, oscillating seals) to achieve Angst + Pfister’s medium and long term strategic and financial objectives.
• You will implement the frameset and goals for the product line strategy of dynamic seals and develop its corresponding support material (presentations, tools, newsletters) highlighting Angst + Pfister’s engineering capabilities in collaboration with our Sales and Marketing teams.
• You will define, maintain, and update your product line assortment focusing on standard assortment, special assortment, new standards products, phase-out/delisting of existing standards assortments. 
• You will position your product line in terms of price level, features, performance, define list prices and update prices on a yearly basis or more frequently. 
• You will play an important role by contributing to the online presence of the product assortment on our WebShop (APSOparts) and on the Angst + Pfister website. 
• You are the go-to-person to develop and maintain tight relationship with our partners/suppliers in order to engage them in fulfilling the product portfolio strategy for all specification requirements.
• You own your product line, detect and assess the market requirements’ and are able to translate them into effective initiatives to develop a competitive Product Portfolio to ensure an impactful and profitable growth of the business.

YOUR PROFILE

• You bring along a degree in engineering, marketing, or business management. A Marketing education (Marketing MBA) or equivalent experience is a great advantage.
• You have at least 10 years’ experience in Product Management or Senior Application Engineering in business fields pertaining to Dynamic Seals.
• You have a good knowledge of Mechanics, Material Physics, Chemistry (at least one of them).
• You bring along solid experience Project Management and are confident to work with strategic Marketing initiatives in a B2B Sales environment.
• You are fluent in English and in your local language (German, French or Italian).
• You bring along very good analytical skills as well as communication and presentation skills.
• You are a positive, ambitious, and self-driven person with a high degree of initiative and ownership.
