  • Build up understanding of the relevant market segments in China and transfer them to business opportunities for APSP based on existing and to be developed product portfolio
  • Service existing clients and search for new clients that could benefit from company products & services and maximize customer potential in designated regions
  • Develop and implement APSP support and Business growth organization in line with business / customer project growth 
  • Travel to visit existing and potential clients
  • Establish new and maintain existing long-term relationships with customers
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements – Be the partner-of-choice for the customer to meet and exceed their requirements 
  • Convince clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Calculate client quotations, negotiate tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs
  • Offer after-sales support services and solve client problems
  • Administer client accounts, record and maintain client contact data
  • Analyze costs and sales, prepare reports for head office
  • Co-ordinate sales projects
  • Support market activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other market events
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and the expatriate engineers



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electric Engineering or Mechanical preferred
  • Proven Sales experience in sensor industry (ideally from pressure, flow and gas sensors in industrial or medical markets)
  • Familiar with CAE technologies and virtual product development
  • Good knowledge in Physics, Electric, Sensors
  • Experience in Sales of components to OEM customers 
  • Experience in a cross-cultural and international environment 
  •  An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  •  An open-minded person, seeking pragmatic solutions, who is ready to roll up her / his sleeves and connects quickly with her / his colleagues as well as with clients
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin. Any additional languages would be a plus
  • Ambitious, agile, independent, reliable and self-driven personality
